Indy Do Day, Lawrence Clean Up Day Participation

Indy Do Day consists of several days where volunteers throughout Indianapolis help out local organizations and build a civically engaged community.

As a part of Indy Do Day, the City of Lawrence, where Best Equipment's Headquarters is located, hosted a community clean-up day. Best Equipment worked alongside 60 City of Lawrence volunteers to clean up litter and surrounding neighborhoods.

Ken Oswald, Outside Sales Support for Best Equipment, took the Vacall AllSweep (AS10) out to clean up Lawrence's neighborhood streets. Litter and debris was swept up, leaving the roads clear for the residents.

The City of Lawrence also used their TYMCO and Petersen Lightning Loader (sold by Best Equipment) to sweep main roads and pick up debris like large branches and bulk waste.

Last year in 2018, 15,000 volunteers worked approximately 60,000 hours and provided $1.4 million worth of free labor to organizations over a three-day period, according to Zack Conner, Co-Chair of Indy Do Day.

Here at Best Equipment we look forward to a continued partnership with the City of Lawrence as their trusted equipment supplier and community volunteer partner.
